Cyphers & Kallander Refinishers started in 1949 out of Mr. Cyphers home in north Seattle. They soon moved the business to Lake Union at 1539 Westlake Ave. North, Seattle. Not wanting to rent Mr. Cyphers had a building built at 3517 Stone Way North in Seattle where they worked for 50 years. In 2001, we moved, re-built and updated our shop to the Nalley Valley area in Tacoma with some new equipment but keeping our well maintained old tools from the 1950 era. We are now trying to purchase additional property to expand our 3500 sq.ft. small workspace and start selling well built reproduction furniture from the 1800’s.
